History:  Peninsula Place in San Bruno, California was originally built in the 1970’s as apartments known as “The Place”.  Construction began in 1980 to convert the apartments into condominiums.  The conversion was completed in 1984 and the units were sold in 8 phases with studios starting from $52,000.

Description:  There are 872 units:  197 Studios, 200 Junior 1-Bedrooms, 279 Large 1-Bedrooms, 102 2-Bedroom/1-Bath, 77 2-Bedroom/2-Bath, and 17 2-Bedroom/2-Bath/Den Condos.

Features:  The buildings are two stories consisting of 8-24 units with wood exterior.  All units are one level with a private entrance.  Each  unit comes with a patio or enclosed balcony, all electric kitchen, one covered deeded parking space.  There is ample guest parking for visitors or for a homeowner’s second car.  Some units have walk-in closets or a pantry for extra storage.  The complex is pet-friendly, both cats and  dogs are welcome, with a limit of two pets per unit.

Amenities:  Enjoy the 4 pools, spa, fitness center with sauna/showers, tennis courts and clubhouse (available for party rental).

 Association Dues:  The low association dues are based upon the size of the unit.  They include:  water, hot water, garbage, common  area  insurance, earthquake insurance, landscaping, exterior maintenance and use of the amenities.
